For eleven years I've worked on the MIS desk — the place where raw numbers either become clarity or become chaos. I've built end-to-end reporting frameworks from scratch for Sales, HR, Finance, Audit and Operations teams, across several industries and organisations of very different shapes and sizes.

My work sits at the intersection of three things: clean data, ruthless automation, and design that makes a number obvious at a glance. I build Power Query pipelines that replace manual consolidation, Excel macros and AI-generated VBA that turn a two-hour task into one button, and Power BI dashboards that answer the question before it's asked.

The measurable result: up to 70% less manual reporting effort, recurring reports that run without data-entry errors, and executive dashboards adopted by senior leadership for workforce and sales planning.

I'm also an early and heavy user of AI for real work — generating VBA, writing complex formulas, scripting reports and cutting development time by around 80%. I actively test new AI tools and apps to find better ways to automate.

Outside work I run Excelkeys — a YouTube channel and tutorial site where I teach the same techniques to analysts who'd rather stop copying and pasting for a living. Currently extending my stack into SQL, Python and DAX.
